Krispy Kreme Donut Copycat (High Protein / Low Carb)

Calories for all 5 donuts:

600 calories

80g protein

32g carbs

15g fat


Ingredients:

1/4 cup warm water

1 tsp instant yeast

1/4 cup whole milk

1 tbsp butter

2 tbsp Allulose or sweetener of choice

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp baking powder

3 tbsp (45g) egg whites


Instructions:

  1. Microwave water for 20-30 seconds so it’s warm, not hot.

  2. Add yeast and dissolve.

  3. Warm up milk and butter 20-30 seconds again.

  4. Add to yeast/water.

  5. Add vanilla and egg whites.

  6. Whisk.

  7. Add dry ingredients. Fit Flour, salt, and allulose

  8. Mix all together until it’s paste-like.

  9. Put dough/paste a ziplock baggie. And cut a hole to pie into a donut mold.

  10. Should make 5 donuts filled half way.

  11. Pat on counter for dough to settle into the mold.

  12. Leave on counter 2 hours.

  13. Then bake at 350 for 10 mins

  14. Glaze is 1 tbsp milk and 1/2 cup powder allulose.
